Natasa
Senior Instructor / Principal Teacher / Choreographer
Natasa is the founder and main choreographer of interact dance co. Her works have been awarded at the Cyprus Dance Platform by the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture.
Natasa Georgiou is a graduate of Laine Theatre Arts of London and holds an MA in choreography from Middlesex University /UK. She is a Fellow and Modern Examiner of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and has been examining in Cyprus and abroad, since 2006. She has completed thirty-four years of experience in dance education, in the creation, promotion, and presentation of modern and contemporary dance, in Cyprus and overseas.

Natasa is the founder and main choreographer of interact dance co. and her works have been awarded at the Cyprus Dance Platform by the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture. She has presented her works in France, Italy, Canada, and Germany, at the European Dance Festival of Cyprus and at the Site-Specific Festival of Cyprus New Movement.

She is a founding member of the Cyprus New Movement of Dance Groups, Dancers, and Choreographers and has served the organization as a vice president for many years. She is also a member of the Cyprus Dance Association. From 2010 until 2014 she held the position of Executive and Artistic Director of Dance House Lemesos, an organization dedicated to
the development of professional contemporary dance in Cyprus and overseas, and served as the general coordinator and project manager for Cyprus for the European Programs, Tracing Roads Across by Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards Theatrical Company, E-Motional Bodies and Cities, Act Your Age, and Leim.

She is appointed by the Ministry of Education and Culture as a member of various committees, for the selection of artistic works for festivals in Cyprus and abroad.

Melina
Dance Teacher / Choreographer
Melina was born in Cyprus in 1999 and moved to the Netherlands in 2018 to study at ArtEZ university of the arts, in the BA DANCE program, for dancers/makers.
​During her studies, Melina created her own solo “To the Rhythm of Our Soul”, did a rework with two dancers, and a duet with Polina Nikolaeva, “Golden frame”.
​
After completing her studies, she choreographed, the work “A shoe from the homeland” as a resident artist at Dance House Lemesos.
Melina performed for Corneliu Ganea, Dunja Jocic, Dario Tortorelli, Olga Markari, Interact Dance Co., Philippe Saire, Diastasis Company, Milena Ugren Koulas, Katerina Tylliridou, Elena Gabriel and Evi Panayiotou.
​
She represented Cyprus for the EU projects, “Re-connect Dance and Theatre training in a Dialogue with the Global South” by Antagon Theatre AKTion, Ondadurto Theatre, and DOREA Educational institute an Erasmus plus project in Antrodoco, Italy Nov. 2021, and the European dance project at Maison De La Danse by Angelin Preljocaj in Aix En Provence,
France, Dec. 2021.

Melina participated in workshops with Nicole Beutler repertoire workshop, Trisha Brown repertoire workshop, Akram Khan Repertoire workshop with Nicola Monaco, Amos Ben-Tal, Gaga workshop in Amsterdam, Trisha Brown repertoire online workshop with Shelly Senter, Sidi Larbi/Eastman Foundation, repertoire by Satoshi Kudo, Workshop by Linda Kapetanea in Athens, and Workshop by Panos Malactos and Jason Mabana.
​
She collaborated as a teacher choreographer with the Cyprus Dance Association and Ballet Cyprus, and she is currently working as a teacher assistant at Moving Arts Centre where she is also choreographing for the children’s shows of the school, since 2017.
